What counts as extra access?
Ask who reads your messages, when to expect a reply and whether a reply comes from the doctor you saw.
Ask how visits work. Are they in a room, on a screen or through messages? Ask what happens when a concern needs an exam.
Where can I look for care?
To begin care, you can visit a clinic in person or use a licensed telehealth service for a visit at a distance.
For either route, ask for the health professional’s name, how the visit works and the plan for questions after it.
Does a membership include medicine?
In September 2026, some online services for weight care advertised a monthly membership fee and a separate charge for medicine. Paying the membership fee did not pay for the medicine.
Read the fee terms as a separate question. Ask for a written list of what is included and what adds to the bill.
Does more access change a drug’s status?
In the US, medicine reviews are handled by the Food and Drug Administration, or FDA. A compounded medicine is prepared to order.
As of September 2026, a custom-made compounded drug has no FDA approval, even when a licensed pharmacy makes it.
Ask about the service and the exact product as separate parts of the decision.
